Up to this point, I have refrained from getting political with Black Label Magazine.
But as I was contemplating what to do for a fresh 4th of July image, I couldn’t resist the urge to say something about what I feel is the tragic state of our union.
So I brought in one of my favorite models who is never shy when it comes to creating controversial pieces, and she brought with her two new Black Label Beauties.
Together, we created “American Debauchery.”
Depending on your perusuasion, you may revere this piece of work or be inflamed by it.
I’m definitely making a statement with this piece, and it’s probably going to cost me some fans. But as someone who has not only served this country but is genuinely a concerned citizen, it is something I feel I have to do, right or wrong.
Accompanying this very edgy pictorial, I have written a little treatise, as neutrally as possible, explaining why America is in the distressed state that it is.
This government that our founders fought so hard to create and build has ceased to function in so many cases.
The words are strong, and the photos are strong. But as we celebrate the 4th of July, we need to remember what we’re celebrating in the first place. We need to be reminded why our founders started the war we now commemorate with fireworks.
Of course, I encourage you to do so in the Black Label fashion. Though not as sensual as my usual work, I think you will find the edginess of “American Debauchery” quite titillating.
Would you expect anything else?
