I’ve been wanting to do it for a long time and finally the right opportunity presented itself.

Since the beginning I have been (in addition to shooter, editor, and everything in between) the person building and operating the website through its many iterations. It has been far from perfect, and a lot of it has been designed in the effort to create something different in an oversaturated adult industry. I have felt for a long time that the site is very bulky and somewhat overwhelming to my users, and have desired to make big changes to it. I have not done so due to—until now—not having the technical know-how or the finances to make those changes. I have and always will choose production to invest my capital in above anything else.
Further, partnering with mymembersite frees up a lot of capital and time in order to focus on what I’m actually good at—production! They have a wonderful team over there that handles all the crap that I’m tired of having to constantly deal with in this current, anti-adult-industry climate—age verification, credit card company audits, etc. So much time has had to be spent getting “compliant” and that has resulted in a less than positive experience for you.

WHAT HAPPENS TO BLACKLABELMAG.COM?
This site stays up for now, and current VIP members can still access it while we finish moving the full archive to blacklabelxxx.com. Once the library is fully populated there, blacklabelmag.com becomes the magazine and blog—mostly SFW coverage of the shoots, behind-the-scenes, and updates, with links straight to the members site. The VIP area here will be fully retired by the end of the year. The goal is simple: one place for the work, and one place for the story around it.
I’ve been sitting on material that deserves better than this old site could give it. The new site is live, and it is fast. Clean, crisp, and built to get out of the way so you can actually watch the work instead of fighting the player. New scenes are already lined up and ready to drop the second the library is fully loaded. No more bulk. No more waiting on a clunky backend. Just the content, delivered the way it should have been from the start.
