About Downloads

PIRACY is not a victimless crime.

I’ve recently heard a few complaints that some of our videos don’t have download access from the VIP Member’s Area, and also have had complaints that I still charge an additional $10.00 for downloads on other select videos.

Let me be clear: I will not be changing this policy any time soon.

Art of any kind is a luxury, including ours. You have to pay for luxuries; that’s the way this twisted world works. I don’t make the rules.

Consider some of our newest, spiciest scenes to be like theatrical releases. You can come to the theater and watch them, but you can’t take them home just yet. You will eventually, but not directly after their release.

Consider also: you are paying for access to my content. You can’t download it all. Why, you ask? It’s simple: I am sick and tired of seeing my content on unauthorized Tube sites. It takes money directly out of my pocket–money that I would otherwise use to create more scenes with more talent in more amazing locations.

Case study: “Mutual Mischief.” To film that single scene cost nearly $5,000.00 (and that’s not counting the six figures spent on the equipment needed, nor the time taken to film and edit that scene). I sell it individually for $29.99, which is also the same price as a monthly VIP Membership. I found it on a Tube site one day–the whole scene, mind you–and saw that it had been viewed over 100,000 times. Now let’s assume that only a third of those 100,000 views were by “new” viewers. That’s around 33,000 people who watched Mutual Mischief for F R E E. Those 33,000 views cost me $989,670.00.

Let that sink in. $ 9 8 9 , 6 7 0 . 0 0

Then imagine what I could do with $900K in my coffers.

I’d love to give it away for free. But it costs money–A LOT of money to create this content.

Black Label is not funded by pimps or money launderers, as some of the other “big” sites are. It’s funded by the modest salary of an individual with a passion for erotic art. The income to Black Label Magazine is what funds our projects.

So yes, I’m charging $10 extra dollars for you to download my content that I just released.

If you don’t like it, move on.

But I refuse to make it cheap and easy for people to steal my content to put on Tube sites for their own notoriety.
